well the beast has now been put under some mild construction. First off Ive decided that my front bumper sits way to far forward and to low so I am in the process of raising it two inches and moving it back two inches. I am guessing that this is going to make quite a bit of difference. I have removed the lower Cowl from right below the Grill on my truck to give me the room to move the bumper. I am also going to cut off about ten inches from each side of my rear bumper so it will stop catching rocks. My rear fenders behind my wheel well is going to get cut off strait back to were the bumper used to be. As I was out messing around with my truck this evening I decided to play with my Electric fan wires and see if that other wire was a higher speed or not.... ..Well Yup its the Hi speed setting so that is going to get hooked up so Ill have a Hi and Lo setting for my fan. ;D The carpet is getting removed from my truck and I am going to put roll on Bed liner in the cab. This is all I can think of right now but Im sure there is more that im going to do so ill keep you posted and Ill have pics up soon. Mike C.

Mike, if your fan is the 2speed taurus fan like mine you will want to mount a relay for it. The taurus fan can draw up to 100 amps at startup and 33 amps continuous. The relay I'm using is from NAPA and is rated at 85 amps. NAPA part number is ST85. It's a universal relay but is listed for an electric golf cart ;D PS: you might want to think about going to a high output alternater if you don't already have one.

One of the cheapest things I have seen used to control those electric fans is a ford fender mounted starter relay. The golf cart this is probly about the same thing to.
I am planing on putting one of those on my Delta88 sometime. The alternator thing is what made me stop. Don't know if the factory 60amp delco will run the fan, AC, lights, ect all at the same time. For me I thought of grabbing the alt off a car with a olds diesel, they were much larger for charging 2 batteries.
