I was thinking it would be a good idea to put a ad in the KState news paper about the Krawl and maybe in the Kansas STar or any other news paper. Mike

I like the idea of the K-State paper and possibly the Ft. Riley paper as well. I don't think the KC Star would attract enough attention to make it worth while. We should find out what ad rates are.

I also think that is a good idea. Also on the magazines, their deadline for August issue is April. so we might want to get on that ASAP. I can do it, if no one else wants to.

I was thinking later on down the line putting flyers up in the post boards around campus and at local businesses.

i was thinking about a couple things today...are we going to have the registration available online? Are the rig requirements for each trail going to be on the registration information or how are we going to let people know what the requirements are? If we start putting up signs and what not around campus...do we have a registration date set yet we should put on the flyers??

Maybe put some flyers on any trucks or jeeps we see that people take offroad. I would like to talk to Film at 11 and give them some flyers or some registration information. Plus see if they will give anything for us to give away. Mike

I found this site for a shop in Topeka that sells jeep stuff and I thought maybe if we talked to them they might give us something to raffle off. www.expertoffroad.com/ mike

Jeremy, go ahead and take care of the magazines if you don't mind, they need the info ASAP. I think it would be helpful if you post a list here of what mags you have sent info to so if someone else wants to they know which ones have been hit.
Phil T. is working on the registration forms and as soon as he's done with them we can get them on-line. I've already talked to Alex and it's a go as soon as Phil finishes them. Vehicle requirements will be on the registration form. I think the pre-registration deadline will be Sept. 19th, but I'm not sure.
I think Mark has contacted Expert Off-Road, but I'm not sure. If anyone wants to stop by Film at 11, go ahead, just let Mark know.
Putting flyers on truck actually works pretty good!

Rob, I will get on that if I don't get it done tonight, I will definitely have it done by tomorrow. What all needs to be included? I am sure they have some requirements, but if there is anything that we want in there, let me know. Also, should I invite them to attend or not?

You need to send them, date, time and location of the event, a brief description, and a point of contact including e-mail and phone #. In the past I've always invited them, none ever took me up on the offer, but ya never know.
