I don't think there is such a thing as a completely trail ready machine. We are always thinking of ways to improve our rigs and alot of the improvements you realize after the fact. It's a live and learn sport we're into. It can be a costly sport also and you have to know your limits.
Me, I'll more than likely end up with enough karnage awards that I could use them as patch panels if they were made of metal ;D

Oh my Jeep will probably never be what I would want optimally, but I have been out there before, knowing that things are wrong or at least weak, and wheeled anyways, and that is when I end up with problems. I am trying to wait till it is in good running order before I try to take it out again.

I got this IM from Kraziexj Mike. He is talking about 1"X3" dash plaques. I don't know how good of a price this is but at least he steped up and checked and we have something to base others off of. Thanks Mike. "i got ahold of the guy i know in wichita and he said he could do them for $1.65 a piece. I have no idea if thats a good price or not. But that is with our logo on the left side and something like "trails krawlers 4x4 1st annual kansas krawl sept 27 2003" on the right side. That is on an aluminum dealy with a sticky back and bagged.

Ok Bringing this back to the top. It really fell off. Are we going to do these? If so we need to start on them now for design and all and get prices. We could also wait til after the event and mail them to participants so we don't order 500 and only have 50 participants. Just curious. Lets get some feed back on this.

I would like to at least get dash plaques, but, I don't think the club can afford them. As for size, I like the 1"x3" metal ones, but am open to anything. I think the design should be simple with the TK logo, 1st Annual Kansas Krawl, and the date.

That works for me. I know Bill W. was going to check into the plastic ones also. Mike E. also got a price on some also but I forgot how much they were, unless it is somewhere in this thread I'll have to go back and look.

I'll get back in touch with them and see if I can get a price range on them. I should see them at this saturdays KC meeting.
