I tried 2 transfer cases, not low enough. Got a parts truck cheap, added a 3rd. Couldn't find any worth while projects, so I added the 4 speed from the parts truck. Shortened the frame while I was at it. My only concern is if I need to mount a bearing to support the input shaft of the four speed. 451/1 crawl ratio.

4th gear in the extra tranny is 1/1 High side on the 205's is 1/1 Nothing I added gears it up. The tranny on the engine is an auto. I will leave the 205's in low, that won't ever be too low. I'll just shift from low to high on the married d20, and shift the 4spd when needed like you would a crawl box. That is if it works at all.

I got it together Monday night and drove it around the yard. Everything seems to work right. I don't hear any binding in the drive shafts or u-joints anywhere. I was concerned because I made the driveshafts with what I had laying around and just made them work. I made some driveshaft sheilds, although you still wouldn't want to ride in it wearing a scarf.
It's slow.

I am just trying to figure out that pic.... Is the drive line going from the origional trans to the rear of the rig.. There it goes into another trans/tcase combo then back to the front again to another tcase... That is some crazy stuff. Looks like something I would build If I had the parts and was bored ;D

The first drive shaft comes off of the original married D20. Place yourself where the driver's seat would be, you can see the front right shifter is for the D20, and the left shifter is homemade for the auto.
The first shaft was made by cutting one end off of the donor shaft to the correct length. Then I took the bushing out of the clutch flex plate and welded it into the open end of the donor shaft. The bushing slides over the input shaft of the T19 wide ratio. The other end, the yoke of the donor drive shaft is connected to the output yoke of the original D20.
The T19 has it's own crossmember, and then a short drive shaft goes from the T19 output yoke to the input yoke of a divorced np205.
The rear output of the np205 at the rear of the vehicle is not used. A drive shaft goes from the front output yoke of the rear case to the input yoke of another divorced np205 that is located below, and in between the D20 and the T19. What you see in the picture is just the crossmember holding it in. This last case is mounted backwards and drives the axles. Both np205's are for passenger side front axle trucks, so the outputs on the last case end up in the correct location.
