Smoke or steam? If smoke what color, blue or black? One side going like that could be a head gasket, burned piston or valve. Or even something simple like the primary in the carb went bad for that side of the engine.
Could be lots of things. Need more info.

could be the fuel problem didnt start happening till the day after i filled up at the gas station in waterville with the high octane gas...When i push on the gas the motor just bogs down really bad...If i dont have it fixed by sat ill bring it down to the orv and see what everyone thinks. Thats if i can make down there before it gets dark...but other than that its hard to tell whats going on...As for the steam or smoke out the one side i couldnt tell it was too dark...Today i looked and they both had the steam coming out of them so really couldnt tell....

Sounds like what happened to the Frog not too long ago. It would run fine, but when I gave it gas it just bogged down. After spending a bunch of $$ I didn't need to, it turned out to be a $4 fuel filter

If it happend right after filling up I would look at a problem with the fuel. Could have gotten some water in the fuel, in cold weather that is going to cause lots of problems. Pour a can or two of HEET in the tank, see if that helps. I know where there is a good running 4.3L v6 chevy and complete harness, but I don't think the guy wants to part with it. Came out of a 86 monte carlo. They stuck an olds 455 in there instead

well i took out the sparkplugs and they were all burning clean but went ahead and changed them anyways..Changed the fuel filter. and all of that seemed to bring it back to the way it was, atleast better.Going to change the spark plug wires as for i seen that they have been squeezed, and they dont look that good to me, im taking it that might improve it some.but still going to look for a 350. Thanks for all the help guys
