Has anyone ever used a Harbour Freight Ball Joint Press? If so are they worth the money? I know it may nat be as strong as others but this won't be used proffesionally just occasionally by me and other club members if needed, or if needed on the trail.

I use and carry on the trail this one and it has worked out great for changing u-joints, makes the job alot easier than 2 sockets and a hammer. However I have heard it really isn't strong enough for ball joints.

WHo makes (sells) the one you have Alex? I really want one strong enough for ball joints. Since I have to install ball joints on the D44.

Since the knuckles are loose, we could do them in the shop press. I got one out, and the other will come with a little heat.

Says made in USA right on page OTC is decent stuff, much better than HF.

I've used the HF one to do both ujoints and ball joints. Works fine. I need to buy one myself. Otherwise some parts stores will loan them to you for free and they are good tools to. Also search Ebay, lots of them there usually.
