Hey Rob, What year of 4.3 do you have in your scambler? I have a friend who is checking into swapping his 95 2.5 with a 94 gm 4.3. Bryan

One way to piece this together without expensive adaptors may be to use waggy parts. Somebody coorect me if I am wrong. In certain years waggys used 400gm trannys with AMC bellhousings made on them. Could you use a Chevy boltpattern 400 and then use a waggy transfercase on the back of it? Just theorizing I guess.

Here's what I have- '93 4.3 to a GM 4WD TH350, Advance Adapted to a Dana 300.
I think the set up you're talking about Andy, would work, I'm just not sure what years one could gather parts from.
