did they give a price? The AA one is new, the only 2 I've found so far are WMS and one other place(I can't remember their name) and they were both $750.

No price in the ad, and they haven't updated the web site to include it yet.

Not sure what tranny you have, but the kit only works with GM transmissions (SM465, TH350/400, 700R4). NOt sure what they're asking but wouldn't it be just a cheap to get a 4:1 gears for the D300?

You get a better low range with adding the np203. You can use the 300 byitself or use the 203 and the 300 at the same time to real low range. The adaptor is at most $400 so thats half of a 4:1 kit. Robin has th350 in the Frog.

Well, he quoted earlier in the posts that adapters from others were $750.00, and I know AA is not known for being cheap. Also I would think adding a NP203 reduction box would also require other driveline mods, new driveshafts etc...

Mike's correct, I currently run a TH350 w/D300, if all goes as planned I'll have to deal with d-shafts anyway so that's not really an issue. The issue is $$ and selectable gear reduction, a 4-1 is around $750 and that doesn't include paying someone to set it up and I don't have the experience with t-case guts to do it comfortably. I also have a NP203 laying in my backyard, I've checked WMS and one other site(still haven't tried to find it again ), they both list the adapter at $750, and it looks like something I could do myself. Another plus is that the doubler would give me around 5 to1 and if I remember right 2 other ranges as well, not just 2 as with the 4-1 in just the D300. Alot of adapters I've seen from AA go for right around the $400-$500 range, if that's the case with this one, then I think I know what I'm gonna do, but I've seen no pricing from AA yet. A couple other things have to happen before I do this so I'm in no rush, just doing research.

I'm thinking that if he did the doubler, he could recoup part of the cost by selling the TH350-D300 adaptor if he has the right 203. Of course they could mount the same on either a 350 or 400. There would be shaft differences with a sm465 ready T-case though. There would be nothing to setting the 4-1 gears up, just a little grinding on the case IIRC, no backlash or preload to set.

I called AA today, an interesting conversation, I said, "I'm interested in your D300- NP203 doubler adapter." Salesman says, "I didn't know we had one." I say, "Well, JP mag says you have one." At this point there's a long pause followed by, "Uuuuuuuuh, could you hold for a sec?" I say, "Sure". The guys gone for no longer than a minute and comes back with all the facts, they do in fact have it proceeds to rattle off everything that comes with kit and offers to mail me the instructions(3 pages). So I got lots of info on the way and then I asked what the price was, $500, so now the wheels are turnin'
