ok lastnight i went to a billy party and thay had a mud run so me and a 6 pack of beer went threw the run 3 times and then my heater made some funny noises and i shut it down and then like an hour later i turend it back on agean and did the same . so this morning ok this afternoon when i got up to clean it and i took the lil door below the glove box and i got about a gallon of mud out of there and i cleaned it out and now the heater dont work , i checked the fuses and its good so i guess the heater moter is bad , and i guess my ? is how in the heck do i get it out of there with out brakeing it out of there ? it is a 95 yj jeep

Thats why I stay out of the mud ;D, I have no idea how to get the heater out.

o someone has to know , and its going to get cold out lol and the mud is to much fun watching all the big trucks on 36 and 44s gettin stuck in the pit and then me on 33s going threw it lol

can you reach in there and spin the squirrel cage by hand? There might be some dried up cooties keeping it from spinning and you could get it loose again.

ok i got it going for now , its not that bad takein it out was pritty easy ya the box still had mud in it and the motor was full of mud to so i spraied it out and spraied lube in it and it works for now , now i just have to fig how to keep the mud out of it so if anyone needs a heater core or blower motor replaced and is close by overland park ill do it for a small fee

You have to have air comeinto and out of the box to make it work and there is no way to seal it. I'd be more concerend about the vital areas of your ride. The axles are the lowest and usually get water in them first, also the drum brakes will pack full of mud. Then head north to the trans and transfer-case, Then the engine. not only do you need to becareful of the crankcase but also the electrical. The electricla can show it's self days down the road. as well as water in the other fluids. Make sure nothing looks like chocolate milk and if it does change it now. and then a gain in a week.

ya i looked at that stuff too and for drums i have disks on the rear now and i went to a sticker shop and got one of them door magnets and will cover the vents on my cowl i just cut it down to fit and hope that works, im not that new to 4 wheelin just jeeps loland its fun so far
