Really nice to have a front page!
I agree with Mike we just need to keep the boards undated or cleaned up, other than that its an awesome site!

I have fixed the main page a little and re-did the links page onto the new server. I need input and ideas from everyone in the club. Trail reports would be nice also. Members, if you want you own bio page about you and/or your rig, send me all you info, specs, pics, ect. I will be rebuilding the bio page next,

I talked to Goeff this morning about hosting the BBS, that's after I saw the link for a Free program. The one I sent to you. If we hosted our own without proboards, we could sell our own adds. And make them less obnoxious than the ones here. Nothing done of course, but he said he has one ready to go.

NIce additions to the page Alex.Hope to get some more photos up for you on of these trail rides. How should we do putting newsletters up? I need to convert them to a .pdf file I guess. But I need the program to make .pdf files I thought I had Adobe that I could do this but so far I haven't been able to come up with any thing.

I like the idea of hosting our own boards, but how smooth would a change-over go as far as, would we be able to archive anything from this board? Would everyone have to re-register or could we some how transfer membership? The only thing I'd like to archive would be the tech stuff, there's getting to be some really good info there, but I have no clue as to how feasible that would be. If possible, I would like to see a bbs that's running the same set up as your thinking. One of my favorite forums, as far as the set up goes is the forums at forums.cj-8.com//index.php?s= The one feature they have that I really like is the ability to upload pics directly from your hard drive to the forums, would something like that be feasible for us?

I sent Geoffrey an email to see what is available to us and I like the idea of getting some sponsors to paid for banners on the boards. This will generate revenue to help with the cost of the website. I think it would be near impossible to transfer threads and memberships to one board to another because of different softwares. We will all have to start out as newbies ;D

I hadn't looked through the website much and I was checking it out tonight and I like what you did with the "Rock Garden" page, nice set up and I like the linked thumbnails.
Something for eveyone to keep in mind, if you've got pics or ideas for the website send them to Alex, we need eveyone's input to make the site our "home".

Mark... I have a ummmm pirated version of Adobe Acrobat 5 Professional if ya need it The other option would be to create the newsletter in HTML. Like I know HTML! I can cnvert it to that but the finished product looks nothing like what it does in WP. So is it a pretty easy deal to convert to a .pdf with adobe? I am all about easy!
