I was thinking that maybe putting up a Junkyard list would be a good Idea. Be sure to include Items in the JY that members may be interested in and a location of the JY.
Butch's Repair Shop and JY Sumner, Nebraska 1 mile East on Highway 40 Sumner is located approximately 30 miles Northwest of Kearney Nebraska (308) 752-2425 or (308) 752-2595 They have about 10+ IH scouts and trucks. lots of fullsize ford and chevy stuff. I only saw a couple jeep Comanche's, But im sure that if you are looking for something special they may have it. It is about 2 hours away from me and I will be making a trip out there sometime late fall or early spring or maybe sometime this winter if it isnt to bad.

Al's 4X4 Salvage, Oskaloosa, KS. (785) 863-2814.
This is about 30 miles NE of Topeka. Whenever I have been there I was looking for Jeep stuff so I didn't pay much attention to other stuff. The Jeep stuff was really picked over and not much left of value. Lots of late model pickups.

I know the place well. They even have some Scouts in there amidst everything else. Years ago I was a member of a club based out of there. The club was called the Rugged Country Four Wheelers but they disbanded about 6 years ago.

Al thinks his stuff is Gold plated. There are some Scouts. I live about 3 min away from there.
Quote: "I bought those scouts to make money off the Jeep guys"
I sell Scout Axels for 200.00 a set so I don't see them going for 500.00 a set. I sell 4.10's for 400.00....now that makes since but 500.00 for 3.07 gears??? Bahh.
I did find a coooool Junk yard south of Topeka called Weekley's @ 1143 SE 117th Carbondale KS.
Took me 2 hours to see it all and it's like a mini 4x4 trip with a mud creek crossing and some small hill climbs. Fun.
He had 2 Cherokee’s 1 old Jeep wagon deal 70's 1 Scout 800 in rough shape I might buy. There is alot od classic cars out there! Like a 60's Ford galaxy convertible!
Bill we seriously need to go check this out! ;D

Steve, Bill there is another yard down on Hwy 56 probably only 2 or 3 miles west of 75 Hwy. They used to specialize in trucks, would only be 6 or 8 miles from Carbondale. Dan
