What are you wanting to put the dana 300 in? I'm sure Mike at 4x4 land has both or could get you them.

You know the dana 300 is right out put. There is a flip kit but it cost $700 and you still need a dana 300. I would get a np 231, they shouldn't cost that much. I'm sure Mike at 4x4 land has one.

The np241 is not geared lower. The GM np241 uses a different spline count than the Jeep NP231. The np241 is used in 1988+ Chevy and GMC trucks. Also it was used in Dodge trucks and Ramchargers after 1988. I'm not sure how much stronger the case is.

The t-case in the Rubicons is a NP231, it may have a G at the end of the name. It is beefer and has 4:1 gears in it. The NP241 has the same low range as the NP231. Mike has 8.8's, I don't remember how much he wants for them. I found a new 8.8 on ebay for $425.
