As I'm fairly new to this board I'm not sure if I should be posting in this area of the board but was wondering if this Krawl Competion was for club members only Noticed the date for it and it happens to be one of my scheduled weekends off. Sounds like it would be a great time

Well, the Kansas Krawl won't have a competition...this year, however we are considering a competition next year. It's our annual fund raiser, this year being the first. It's on Sept. 27th and is open to anyone with a 4x4 w/a low range transfer case. We'll be having guided trail runs on all difficulty levels from easy to hard and a fullsize group. The groups will start going to the Tuttle Creel ORV at 7:30am and won't be coming back to base at the Randolph City Park until 4:30 or 5 in the afternoon, so bring a sack lunch, we'll be having lunch on the trail. When the groups start returning to the park around 5 there'll be a full BBQ provided by TK 4x4. We'll also be giving away door prizes from vendors such as DPG Off-Road, Keeper straps, Big Daddy Off-Road, Predator Off-road, Hi-Lift, Interco, and others. We'll also be having a raffle for either a Warn winch or a set of 37x12.50x15 Goodyear MT/R's, we don't know for sure which one yet, but we do have confirmation that we will have one or the other. The entry fee is $35 per vehicle and driver, $5 for each additional passenger, and children 10 and under are free. I hope I remembered everything! Feel free to post here, the only section of our boards that is private is the officers lounge which is for TK 4x4 officers.

Please define low range transfercase. Is the 2to1 transfer in my Scout low enough or are you talking even lower to enter. Sounds like I'll have to make plans for this one ;D. I can smell the hotdogs cooking on the intake allready.
